Electronic
Reporting Product
|
|
|
The Electronic Reporting Product
delivers report images directly to your desktop via the internet and
a browser. Notice the wide variety of capabilities which are
implemented at the top of the screen in the menu bar. Also
notice: the report layout is exactly as it would appear on the printed
page (the gray bar denotes a page break). BCS provides this product
as an Application Service Provider (ASP) so you aren't required to
purchase or implement any hardware or software. You pay only based
on your usage.

Electronic Data Mart Product
|
|
|
The Electronic
Data Mart Product allows what if queries to be
designed which allow end users to view your legacy
data. This sample screen shows one possibility for a query
design but the product is limited only by your imagination and
business needs. This product is also provided on the ASP
model.

|
Electronic Imaging Product
|
|
|
The Electronic
Imaging Product allows you to store and retrieve any kind of imagery.
Notice the right side of the screen is displaying an image using
Adobe Acrobat, thereby providing you with the extensive
manipulation, printing and viewing capabilities of this product. On
the left side of the screen, the user can select the image(s) they
want to view by specifying one or more of the indexes that have been
defined for this type of image (in this case Employee ID and Name)
as well as the date the image was sent to the Electronic Imaging
Product. Also notice the capabilities which are provided at the top
of the screen via the menu buttons, including the ability to group
images together.

Collaborate
Financial
|
|
|
This application
is designed to provide sophisticated online collaboration
capabilities for the Financial Services vertical market. It has been
implemented using our development toolkit and is hosted on the BCS
server platforms.

|
City of Columbia Utility Service Application
|
|
|
This application
uses distributed processing architectures to provide a Customer
Service community with a user friendly front end to an in house
application. The screen you are viewing runs on the BCS server
platform and is accessed by the end users via the internet and
a browser. When the server based application (written in VBScript,
ASP and SQL) requires information from the mainframe based
application a DCOM object is invoked which is served on another
platform near the client's mainframe. This side of the DCOM object
in turn makes direct reference to the mainframe application via ODBC
and SQL and returns or updates the end data as required/requested by
the original user. This application provides fast response time with
high security and demonstrates an innovative approach to a common
business problem.

Energy Challenge Application
|
|
|
This application
is used by the customers of a municipal utility to determine ways
to lower their energy bills. The end user calls up their own utility
usage history (which is automatically loaded from a mainframe based
application) and then answers a series of questions about their
house and energy use habits. The application then performs a series
of calculations and presents observations, analysis and specific
recommendations to the user about how to lower their energy
bills.

Hanley-Wood Budget Application
|
|
|
This application
is used by the management staff in a large publishing house to
enter the corporate budget and projection information. The
application provides robust planning and budgeting functionality but
is simple to use. The application is housed on the BCS
server platforms and delivered to the end user via the internet and
browser which allows the end users to access the application and
coordinate the budget planning process across the various geographic
corporate locations.
